I've been practicing with charcoal lately, and I think this still life drawing turned out well.
In other news, some of my original artworks are now available for sale in my Etsy shop!

Palace of Worms / Mastery Split Artwork Revealed
The new split tape featuring Palace of Worms and Mastery has been released! So, I am quite excited to reveal the final artwork for this.
This piece was done with watercolor and graphite on paper, and digitally assembled with hand-drawn lettering. I found inspiration in the feelings evoked by the music itself, the obscure monsters buried deep within one's imagination, and a myriad of old horror stories.
Here is an image of the tape layout featuring the artwork in its entirety:
The blackness spills over the right edge to fill the other side, as well. I will share more photos once I get my hands on the physical copy.
This release is now available for pre-order from Flenser Records, and you can hear two tracks streaming on Cvlt Nation now! You won't want to miss out on this one, I assure you.

Dark Spell
Watercolor, graphite, and color pencil on paper.
This piece is more overtly art nouveau-inspired. Also, I have been incorporating some different techniques lately, and focusing in on dimension and detail. Being mostly self-taught, every piece is a learning experience. I hope to never stop improving!

New Nocturnal Creature
I have long held a fascination with moths. So, I was pleased to have the opportunity to feature an image based on the luna moth in one of my recent assignments. Shown here is a slightly modified version of the original design.

Works From This Past Winter and Autumn
My most recent work is the logo I made for the death metal music project Pus Filled Ejaculation.
This style of extreme metal logo often involves a great deal of freehand drawing. I feel that this lends a very organic quality which can be difficult to create digitally.
One of my favorite design projects from the Fall school semester was this one: a composition using unique directional arrows all pointing to the same point in the negative space, based on the theme of the crucifixion:
Also worth noting is the art piece I did for Burzum.org's contest that recently ended.
It depicts the death of Belus (Baldr), and was created using watercolor, color pencil, and some digital effects.
